Advantage Counseling Services was founded in 2011 to provide quality outpatient mental health services and educational programs for adults and children.
We help individuals, couples and families to work through life's challenges and bring positive change into their lives.
We provide group counseling services for individuals who are required to attend court-mandated programs, including Domestic Violence, Parenting, Co-Parenting, and Anger Management classes.
Additionally, we provide comprehensive psychological evaluations and consulting for immigration purposes.
We offer most services in English, Spanish, and Farsi.

Individual Counseling
Depression, Anxiety, Trauma Recovery, Grief and Loss, Adjustments to Life Transitions , Self-Esteem Issues, Stress, Relationship Issues.
Sessions for Adults, Adolescents, and Children.
Court Ordered Counseling
Domestic Violence, Parenting, Child Abuse, Anger Management, Co-Parenting and
High-Conflict Parenting, Counseling for DCFS.
All of our programs are Court / DCFS approved.
Couples Counseling
Identify and resolve conflict and unhealthy patterns, Improve communication and intimacy, Restore trust, Learn to work as a team.
Victims of Crime Counseling
Free Therapy for qualifying victims of Domestic Violence, Assault, Battery, Sexual Abuse, Child Abuse, Robbery, Homicide, Hit and Run, Manslaughter, or other violent crime.
Family Counseling
Identify and mange sources of conflict among family members, Child/teen and parent conflict, Improve communication.
Psychological Evaluation
Psychological Evaluations for U Visas, VAWA, Family Petitions, Asylum and Deportation cases.
